THE HOST
I’m Eric, the host of this podcast. My last name is Wegerbauer, which is a bit a mouthful. I found creativity almost by accident, but once I did, I stuck like velcro.
I spent part of my childhood in a commune where we shaved our heads, wore silver and dollars, and played the game called “The Game” which mostly involved yelling at each other as a form of therapy.
Over the years, I’ve been an architect, creativity technologist, designer, writer, artist, cartoonist, and creative director, each shaped in some way, by the word of art. It always been there, in my back pocket, no matter way i went. It’s what fuels me, and it’s what I hope to share with you.
The podcast is for anyone who’s creative and that means everyone. The creative instinct is in all of us, it just get forgotten. My hope is that this podcast helps awaken it.
It wonders the world of art and creativity through the eyes of those making it. Because if you understand how an artist thinks, you will start to see the world differently.
This isn’t about portfolios or accolades. It’s about tapping into the creative mind and learning how it’s used to navigate and shape the wild world we’re living in. Along the way, we explore a creative landscape across generations, uncovering stories that offer new ways of thinking, creating, and living.
These aren’t just sit down interviews. I’ll be experimenting with my guest. Finding unexpected connections, trying new formats, and creating something in the moment together. And most of all, I want it to be fun. To laugh and be curious.
